• I’ve finished my appointment with my adviser – what happens now?

Following your appointment, your adviser will consider your existing position utilising the information collected at your meeting. An advice document will be created recommending strategies to improve your position. This process can take a couple of weeks depending on the complexity of the advice. Once your advice document is completed we will contact you to present this advice to you.

  • I wish to proceed with the recommendations and have signed the Agreement to Proceed. What are the next steps?

Once you have signed the Agreement to Proceed, we are almost ready to implement our recommendations. There may be paperwork to be completed, or we will walk you through your action items. We work with you through to completion of the advice implementation and if needed, a meeting will be held once finalised to walk you through your new position.

  • I need to speak with an adviser! Will I be sent an invoice?

Our office is equipped with dedicated administration staff to assist with most enquiries – however there will be times you need to speak with an adviser. One of the benefits associated with joining our IPS Wealth Management Service Offer is that you will have access to our adviser services at no additional cost. In the event that you declined our ongoing service offer, some services may incur a fee, however you will not be sent an invoice following a conversation with an adviser.

  • I’m worried about current market conditions – what should I do?

When we work with you to create your risk profile and subsequently recommend an investment portfolio, we take into consideration your reaction to market volatility. Quite often clients need to be reminded of the advice and reasons behind the investment structure – we do not attempt to time the market by jumping in and out of investments. If at any time you are stressed or concerned about your investment we urge you to contact our office to discuss your portfolio.
